Staggered tyre setup calculator

Is my staggered tyre setup safe?

A staggered setup runs wider tyres on one axle (usually the rear). The front-to-rear width difference is the stagger; the overall diameters should still match within a few percent — a large diameter mismatch is unsafe on AWD/4WD and stresses the drivetrain. Different front and rear sizes also mean front-to-rear rotation is not possible.

Diameters match — fine for staggered use (incl. AWD)

Different front/rear sizes: front-to-rear rotation is not possible.

Verify wheel/arch clearance and your vehicle’s approved staggered fitment before fitting.
