Revs per mile / km calculator

How many times does a tire turn per mile?

Wheel revolutions are circumference-based: revs per mile = 1,609,344 mm divided by tire circumference in millimetres. A taller tire has a larger circumference, so it turns fewer times per mile or kilometre. That affects odometer reading, gearing, cruise RPM and comparison tables.
